Getting in the frame.
If you are like most of people you probably don’t love having your photo taken…. We come up with a million excuses to avoid it or just never do it. When I force myself to get in the frame it either means hiring a professional or setting up a tripod and I always love having the end results. My why isn’t me but it is her. If for some reason I am not around one day she will have these keepsakes of not just me but of US. So Mama’s don’t be too hard on yourself but give yourself some grace and just make it happen. If you don’t do it for you do it for your children. One day they will look back and have those keepsakes and memories with you and that makes it all worth it!
Traveling Gypsy Dress by Reclamation
Traveling Gypsy Dress by https://www.wearereclamation.com/ will be traveling around the US this year. This dress will give photographers a chance to showcase where they live or where they travel and photograph this beautiful dress. I am excited to see this project come to life and see what is created with this dress. We took this dress to Joshua Tree, CA last week and shot some beautiful photos during a retreat that I put on for photographers. Newborn Zoey
It is such an honor to photograph a family from the start, I met Jenica and Behzad when they got married almost 2 yrs ago. They had one of the most beautiful weddings and some of the most beautiful heartfelt speeches I have heard at a wedding. They radiate love and kindness not only to each other but to everyone around them. When Jenica contacted me to let me know she was pregnant I could’t have been more thrilled for them! We did a gender revel session and found out it was a girl which was my first smoke bomb revel so that was exciting to witness them finding out that soon they would have a daughter! Fast forward to 8 months later and baby Zoey has now arrived, she is the sweetest little baby girl and absolutely beautiful! Thank you Jenica & Behzad for trusting me to document these memorable moments in time.
Family Beach Session
I have had the honor of photographing this family for the past few years and every session gets better and better. The beach is their happy place so we knew it needed to happen but if you live in northern California you also know that its a big toss up with weather at the beach. Well we managed to have a warm day with sunshine when we did this session, All the stars aligned and every moment of this session was so very special.
